Agra Fort
Agra Fort lies on the edge of town and is massive. These pictures show only a small part of the whole.
Jahangir Mahal, the first main building one encounters on the way in.
A corner of the courtyard and garden. Each archway would have contained a guard.
Steve standing in front of one of the twin Golden Pavilions that would have been used by the women
Khas Mahal lies in between the Golden Pavilions. It would have been lavishly decorated with silks, light and colour.
Part of the large moat that surrounds the fort.
Richly carved red sandstone columns
A carved stone archway inside a Golden Pavilion
The Taj Mahal is visible across the river bend
